ISMB is the world's largest bioinformatics and computational biology conference and the natural venue for the database/tool side of his program — HMDB, DrugBank, NP-MRD, MiMeDB, MarkerDB, PathBank, PHASTEST, BASys2, PlasMapper, Heatmapper2 — plus AI/ML for spectra prediction (CFM-ID) and metabolite biotransformation prediction (BioTransformer). Relevant co-located tracks include 3DSIG (structural bioinformatics, matching his protein-NMR/structure work), CompMS (computational mass spectrometry), MLCSB (machine learning), Function SIG and ICBO (ontologies/biocuration).
