Travel and lodging to attend the three-day Undergraduate Development Program

Eligibility

Undergraduate and graduate students, and persons in the first year of a formal postbaccalaureate research position, who are underrepresented in science. For students not yet at the stage of submitting an abstract.

Deadline

Tied to the UDP cycle (2026 programme ran March 21-23, 2026)

Notes

Students planning to submit an abstract should apply for the Undergraduate Research Award instead. A separate UDP Advisor Travel Award exists for non-SOT-member undergraduate faculty.

Conference Information

Dates: Annually in March (2026 Undergraduate Development Program: March 21-23, 2026); 2027 dates TBD

Location: Rotates across US cities

Research match: Xenobiotic metabolism, biotransformation and exposure science — matches BioTransformer, the drug-metabolism prediction work and environmental metabolomics.
